Adebayo-Bugaje Presidential Campaign Felicitates Sultan Of Sokoto On His 20th Anniversary
Promises To Involve Traditional Institutions In Grassroots Governance
ABUJA, NIGERIA — The Adebayo-Bugaje Presidential Campaign has extended its warmest felicitations to His Eminence, the Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar III, on the historic occasion of his 20th anniversary on the exalted throne of the Sokoto Caliphate.

Prince Adebayo also highly praised the rich historical trajectory of the Sokoto Caliphate, acknowledging its “long-standing legacy of administrative excellence, diplomacy, and cultural heritage.”
Looking toward the future governance of the nation, Prince Adebayo promised that his incoming administration would formally include traditional rulers in the machinery of implementing his “Farewell to Poverty and Insecurity” agenda as President.
He maintained that “the traditional tier of leadership is closest to the grassroots and possesses the unique capacity to help secure communities and drive social welfare programs.”
Under his leadership, Prince Adebayo assured that traditional institutions across Nigeria would not be sidelined but “systematically preserved, supported, and promoted throughout the length and breadth of this country.”
