APC Crisis: “I am Currently Presiding Over The CECPC Of The APC At The National Secretariat”, Niger Governor, Sani Bello Counters Udoedehe
Niger state Governor, Mr. Sani Bello has confirmed that he has taken over the leadership of the Caretaker Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee, CECPC, of the ruling All Progressives Congress from Yobe state Governor, Mai Mala Buni, despite a rebuttal from the secretary of the committee, Senator Akpan Udoedehe.
Bello in a series of tweets on Monday showing pictures of his team having meeting to debunk Udoedehe’s claim.
It would be recalled that a newspaper had reported that the Buni led Caretaker committee had been sacked by President Muhammadu Buhari and replaced by Bello when it was obvious that Buni was playing ‘hide and seek game’ with the party’s convention scheduled for March 26, 2022 with dire consequences.
President Buhari was said to have sacked Buni’s Committee before proceeding on his medical vacation in United Kingdom yesterday.
When the news filters out this morning, Udoedehe has stoutly debunked it that it was a sponsored news to cause confusion in the party.
