APC Convention: A Family Affair Well-Midwifed

Yesterday, the National Executive Committee of our party, the All Progressive Congress emerged through a consensus arrangement that was well – managed by the leaders of our great party. I congratulate APC family, the National Chairman, and all the Elected National Executive Committee member of our party on the success of the convention.

While I give glory to God for the success and peaceful conduct of the convention, I specially wish to thank President Muhammadu Buhari GCFR for his unique leadership role that birthed a consensus arrangement like no other. I appreciate the roles of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, other national leaders and APC governors nationwide for ensuring that our party, the APC, walked the route of consensus in electing its National Executive Committee members. The leaders have demonstrated severally, and jointly where necessary, leadership quality that led to the victorious outcome of the convention.

I specially wish to thank the governor and the leader of APC in Ondo state, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN for his steadfastness and unyielding courage in providing a common front for Ondo state delegates. I congratulate Hon Duerimini Isaac Kekemeke, our Zonal Chairman on his election and our friend, Senator Iyiola Omisore, the National Secretary of our party on his election.

The convention has proven that APC is a one big family that its major concern is the common good of the platform and common good of the people of Nigeria. This is the philosophy that engender a consensus arrangement subscribed to by all. It is therefore my expectation that the party will experience a continued growth and peace in the years ahead.

Once again, congratulations to all APC family members in Ondo state and Nigeria in general.
