Controversy Trails Appointment Of Hafsat Abiola As Director General Of Bello For President Campaign

Hafsat Abiola-Constello, Harvard trained daughter of the late MKO Abiola, seems to have drawn the ire of her siblings and Nigerians over her appointment as the director general for the presidential ambition of Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi state.

One of her siblings,  Tundun Abiola was so irked that she claimed Hafsat has disgraced her father by drawing a similarity between their father and Bello.

Others have also joined the fray. Nsikak Essien, a former staff of MKO asked rhetorically if the news was true of fake.

He asked; “Is she truly my boss’s daughter?”

Essien went further to say that “Governor Yahaya Bello’s presidential interest has only a nuisance value, totally separated from wisdom and sense.”

Is it one of those fake news? My boss’s daughter, Hafsat Abiola Costello heads as Director General, Kogi Governor’s Presidential campaign Committee?

Something is wrong somewhere. Governor Yahaya Bello’s presidential interest has only a nuisance value, totally separated from wisdom and sense.

My boss and friend, Bashorun MKO Abiola was a serious person, very brilliant, filled with ideas and wisdom. He gave his life for a good cause.

Bashorun MKO Abiola would not have touched Yahaya Bello with a 10foot pole. He had no business with jesters. 

What has gone wrong with Hafsat Abiola Costello? Very bad company.
