Just In: Alaafin Of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi Dies At 83
The passing of revered traditional ruler, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi, the Alaafin of Oyo, to joining his ancestors has been confirmed.
Oba Adeyemi, who reigned for 52 years, passed on to the great beyond at the late hours of Friday, 22nd of April 2022.
He was said to have died at a private hospital owned by Afe Babalola in Ado Ekiti, Ekiti state.
Oba Adeyemi departed at the rope age of 83.
