2023:It’s Official, Bakare Set To Declare For President
Serving Overseer of Citadel Global Community Church, Pastor Tunde Bakare is set to declare for President.
The venue is Yar’Adua Centre, Abuja.
According to a poster making the rounds, the revered Pastor will join other presidential aspirants seeking for the ticket of the ruling All Progressives Congress. Bakare who moved the motion for the merger of all the legacy political parties in 2014 is one of the founding fathers of the APC.
He was hosted by President Muhammadu Buhari and other leaders recently in Abuja.
Bakare who announced his withdrawal from church as a pastor recently after 33 years in the saddle says, he is going for a higher calling to work for Nigeria.
He was the running mate of President Muhammadu Buhari in 2011 presidential election and has said repeatedly that he is taking over after Buhari.
During his farewell message, Bakare quoting from Plasms 19, 1-6, says the Heaven must declare first to make his public declaration impactful.
