I’M Not Eligible To Run For Office In Nigeria, Ducthman Refutes Claim Of Contesting To Govern Plateau State
A Dutch Nigerian, Wiebe Boer aka Yohanna Maigona, has refuted claims that he is contesting to be the governor of Plateau State in 2023 governorship election.
Boer in a tweet said he is not eligible and will not be contesting as it is been bandied.
Maigona has lived in Jos all his life and speaks impeccable Hausa and also attended a Secondary school in the city.
Maigona is the CEO of All On Energy, which is involved in renewable energy, such as solar power.
He also has an affiliation with Pan African Writers Association (PAWA).
On 12 May 2021, Maigona, also officially called Wiebe Boer, was the interviewer of Professor Wole Soyinka, the first guest of PAWA’s Conversation Series.
