Ibadan Based Broadcaster, Oriyomi Hamzat Arrested, Flown To Abuja
The founder of Agidigbo FM, Oriyomi Hamzat has been arrested.
Oriyomi, a popular presenter, was arrested by officials of the Federal Intelligence Bureau of the Nigerian Police Force on Thursday morning.
He has since been flown to Abuja, the nation’s capital.
At the time of writing this report, details regarding the arrest were sketchy, but it may not be unconnected with his reportage of the death of Timothy Adegoke, a master’s student of the Obafemi Awolowo University.
