2023:Senate President, Ahmad Lawan Loses Bid To Return To Senate

Senate president, Ahmad Lawan may have missed the opportunity to return to the senate in 2023.

Bashir Sherrif who was earlier elected to represent Yobe North, a Constituency where the Senate President is representing at the National Assembly has refused to step down.

The presidential ambition of Lawan may have cost the the opportunity to return for the first time in almost 20 years.
