Ekiti 2022: APC In Early Lead

The governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Biodun Abayomi seems to be coasting home for victory after the results of the 10 out of the 16 local Governments were posted on the portal of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.

BAO as he is fondly called has scored a total of 107,913 votes , while Engr Segun Oni of the Social Democratic Party is trailing with 42,122. The People’s Democratic Party candidate, Bisi Kolawole has polled 40,838.

With the results posted so far , the collation from the remaining 6 local Governments may not in anyway different from the 10 collated so far.

Though, the allegations of vote Buying was rampant, information from the polling units revealed that the three major political parties, APC, PDP and SDP were trying to outdo each other in the polls bazaar.
