Nigeria @ 62: CUPP Urges Nigerians Not To Reinforce Failure In 2023
THE Coalition of United Political Parties, CUPP, in its message to Nigerians on the occasion of its 62nd Independence anniversary has urged Nigerians to avoid reinforcing “the subsisting leadership failure bedeviling Nigeria come 2023 general elections”.
In a Press Release signed by CUPP’s National Co-Spokesperson, Comrade Mark Adebayo, the coalition stated that “After 62 years of flag independence there is little for Nigerians to be proud of in their country due to recurrent leadership failures the worst variant of which has been experienced in the last seven years plus.
“As we mark another anniversary of flag independence from colonial powers today, we urge Nigerians to be awake to their responsibilities and ensure that the subsisting leadership failures, incompetence and cluelessness being experienced in the last seven years plus are not reinforced but reversed in 2023”.
Furthermore, the coalition called on “all Nigerians to be maximally vigilant before, during and immediately after the 2023 general elections in order to ensure that any attempts to sabotage the electoral will of the people by antidemocratic forces of darkness never materializes. We encourage all Nigerians to be active participants in delivering a free, fair and credible election in 2023 through which we will secure the desirable present and future for ourselves and incoming generations.
CUPP will support and present credible, capable, physically fit, intellectually loaded and visionary candidates across board to Nigerians who will not only live up to expectation but also ensure greater happiness of the greater majority.
The candidates of CUPP are the magic wands for Nigeria’s redirection from its current moribund trajectory to its rendezvous of glory and greatness”, the Press Release concluded.
