2023: SDP Presidential Candidate, Adebayo Adewole, Accuses APC Of Plagiarising Its Manifesto

The presidential candidate of the Social Democratic Party, Prince Adebayo Adewole has accused the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Mr Bola Tinubu of plagiarising its manifesto titled, ‘Renewed Hope 2023’.

Adebayo who spoke on Channels Television current affairs program, Politics Today on Friday insisted that the APC was running  on another manifesto before they now zeroed in on his manifesto.

He, however, explained that his government  will not embark on highfalutin projects.

“We’ll block the loopholes and ensure that Nigerians enjoy the dividends of democracy”, he said.

On the oil theft that’s affecting the revenue accrued to the country, Adebayo said the APC is living in denial.

“We were the first to raise the alarm about the oil theft. We have discussed it with this current government the way we explained it to the PDP back then. These grand theft by the APC is the reason why  we cannot do much in the critical sectors of the economy.

“If you want to be the commander in chief you have to find out what is going on in the country. These oil theft sites are not a new discovery. Anybody in Niger Delta know all these sites. I know it , many people know it. You cannot be discovering what is known to everyone. Nobody can say they just discovered the sites of the oil theft.” He added.

On his policy on education he says, “it is in two parts, I have information for the government. They should stop the oil theft now. It’s their people that are stealing it. Secondly, Education is a right, if 10 per cent of money that’s is being stolen from oil, taxation, and other mineral resources are stopped, you’ll have enough money to subsidise education. It’s a right of the people.”
