Why APC Failed To Implement Education Loan For Nigerian Students-Keyamo
Spokesman of the Presidential Campaign Council of Tinubu-Shettima, Mr Festus Keyamo has explained why the All Progressives Congress was unable to fulfil its promise of education loan to students as promised in 2015.
Incidentally, APC presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu whose manifesto christen,” Renewed Hope 2023” made that promise.
On why people should trust the APC now when it made such promises in the past without fulfilling it, Keyamo explained that the economic meltdown of 2015 prevented the APC from implementing it.
He spoke on channels television current affairs program politics today monitored in Lagos on Friday.
Asked why the students should now trust Bola Tinubu since the party on which platform he is contesting made such promise in the past without fulfilling it,
Keyamo said the Tinubu’s manifesto christen ‘renewed hope 2023’ is an action plan that will enable it generate enough revenue to fund the program.
Explaining further, Keyamo said Tinubu’s performance in Lagos where he raised the internally generated revenue from 700 million in 1999 to 51billion now will come handy, adding that his principal has promised to build an economy that’s not susceptible to the vagaries of international politics.
“ We’ll build on the foundation laid by President Muhammadu Buhari to have food sufficiency and an economy that is buoyant for all.”
