Naira Redesign: New Notes Out Today

The redesigned N200, N500 and N1000 naira notes will be in circulation officially today according to the governor of Central Bank of Nigeria, Mr Godwin Emefiele.

Nigerians are waiting to see the new notes which have generated so much controversy.

The old notes will however be out of circulation after the 31, January 2023.

Also, the cashless will start on January 9, 2023 with daily withdrawal at the automated teller machine ATM and point of sale POS at 20,000, while individuals at the banking hall is N100,000.
