Breaking:Kwara Is Sinking Under Unproductive Loan—NNPP
Kwara state New Nigeria Peoples Party gubernatorial candidate, Prof Shuaibu Abdukareem, has accused the governor Abdurazaq Abdurahman’s administration of taking unproductive loan.
He spoke on Channels Television current affairs program, Sunrise Daily monitored in Lagos on Friday.
Prof Abdukareem maintains that without mentioning any government, the last seven and half years have been worst in the state.
He, however, deplored the number of out of school children in Nigeria, especially from the state, adding that it’s worrisome.
He said; “ Taking loans in itself is not bad, but what you do with the loan. Currently, Kwara is sinking under unproductive loan by this present administration.”
Prof Abdukareem who was a former vice chancellor of UNILORIN said he decided to mount the soapbox because of declining governance over the years.
He explained that not taking interest in the polity may spell doom for the people as unqualified people continue to create more problems because of their lacklustre performance.
