87,009 Civil Servants To Enjoy Special Health Scheme In Kebbi

No fewer than 87,000 civil servants are to enjoy special health services scheme by enrolling into the Contributory Health Care Scheme under the Kebbi State Contributory Health Care Management Agency (KECHEMA).
The Executive Secretary of the agency, Dr. Jafar Muhammad, stated this at the Flag off of the enrolment and capturing of the formal sectors held at the office of the Acting Head of the State Civil Service, in Birnin-Kebbi.
Dr. Muhammad said, the formal sector enrolment was to enable civil servants at the state and local governments level enjoy affordable Health Care services at low cost as three percent deduction from their salaries had already commenced.
The KECHEMA boss hoped that, the incoming administration would sustain the programme for the benefit of the people of the state.
In his speech, the State Acting Head of the Civil Service Alhaji Suflyanu Garba, called on Civil Servants to enrol into the Scheme for easy access to quality and affordable Health care Services.
He enjoined the Agency to exhibit high level of commitment for the benefit of Civil Servants and overall success of the Scheme.
The State Chairman, Nigeria Labour Congress NLC, Comrade Umar Alhassan, called on the State government to contribute it ten percent share to enable the civil servants enjoy the services effectively.
