APC Kebbi Chapter Congratulates Tinubu, Shettima

The All Progressives Congress, (APC) in Kebbi state has expressed immense appreciation to its teeming supporters and other people in the state over the victory of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his Vice, Kashim Shettima, as President and Vice President elect.

The State Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the party, Alhaji Isah Assalafi made the commendation at a Press briefing with newsmen in Birnin Kebbi, the State capital.

Assalafi acknowledged that although the party lost the Senate seats and some House of Representatives seats to the opposition, the outcome did not in any way affect the strength of the party but galvanized and encouraged its resolve to clinch the governorship position come March 11th Governorship and House of Assembly elections.

He urged the people of Kebbi State to come out enmasse to vote for APC governorship candidate, Dr. Nasir Idris and all candidates of the party to the state house of Assembly.

On the outcome of the Kebbi Central Senatorial election, the party spokesman made it clear that the APC has grievances on the election result which the party would pursue at the Appropriate time after the gathering of necessary facts and evidences.

He said the party would also require INEC to expedite action on  addressing the inconclusive result of the Senate for Kebbi North as well as those for the House of Representatives in Dandi/Arewa Federal Constituency and Koko-Besse/Maiyama Federal Constituency respectively.

He thanked the people of Kebbi State for maintaining peace, law and order before, during and after the entire process of last Saturday’s election that paved the way for conducive environment and peaceful conduct of the polls.

The spokesman urged the people to maintain the tempo in the coming governorship and state assembly elections on the eleventh of this month and ensure victory for the party.
