COSEG Congratulates President-Elect, Tinubu On Electoral Victory 

The Umbrella body of Yoruba self determination groups in Nigeria,the Coalition of Oodua Self Determination Groups (COSEG), has congratulated the nation’s president elect,Asiwaju Bola Ahmed TInubu on his election as president ant commander in chief of the Armed forces

In a congratulatory message on Monday in   Lagos signed by the Chairman of it’s coordinating council,Comrade Dayo Ogunlana,the group described the emergence of the two term Governor of Lagos state as a reward for determination and commitment to nation building

COSEG in the press release saluted all the other contestants for their efforts at deepening democracy and that they should accept the result in good faith as it reflects the genuine wish of the people 

The group commended the president elect for his commitment to the ideals of a better Nigeria as contained in his renewed hope manifesto,urging him to work for the progress and development of the country as he did as Governor of Lagos state

According to Ogunlana ” let me on behalf of the coordinating council of COSEG,congratulate the president elect of Nigeria,Asiwaju Bola Ahmed TInubu on his well deserved victory. He fought a good battle and Olodumare eventually crowned his efforts with success. With this success,he has restored hope back to the country,his antecedents speak volume for him as he showed capacity for development while in Lagos,so it’s our vivid believe that he will replicate such giant strides in the country”

Continuing ” to all the Northern Governors,you have rekindled hope of a united Nigeria by your insistence on a southern presidency ,we are proud of you. We believe this new found synergy will work for the good of the country. And to Mr President, your exemplary conduct before,during and after the election has evidently shown you as an Elder statesman who want progress and development of Nigeria,your name shall be written in gold in the history of Nigeria”
