The Lagos PDP Governorship Candidate Dr. Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran (JANDOR) , has reassured the career civil servants in the Lagos state ministries and agencies of better welfare condition when he emerge victorious and forms the government.

Dr. Adediran in a statement issued by his Spokesman, Gbenga Ogunleye on Monday in Lagos, promised that no government worker will be victimized and the existing agencies of the government will be retained and strengthened to deliver on the people-focused policies of his government.

He debunked the campaign of calumny making the round that he is planning to scrap the Lagos State Traffic Management Agency, (LASTMA), Vehicle Inspection Agency (VIO), Lagos State Signage and Advertisement Agency (LAASA), and other agencies of the government when he becomes the state governor.

JANDOR condemned the ruling APC for intimidating civil servants in the state to vote for the party against their wish.

He decried reported cases of threatening of workers in the state and alleged directive issued to heads of government agencies and parastatal to monitor their staff and dismiss those who refuse to comply with the plan to ‘vote and show’.

Dr. Adediran reiterated that the outcome of the presidential and national assembly election will have no effect on the voting pattern in the forthcoming March 18 Guber election.

He stated that the non-Yoruba speaking residents of Lagos State who voted emblock for the Labour Party because of their preference for it’s presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Obi are traditionally supporters of the PDP in the state and they have expressed their readiness to vote the party again.

JANDOR also revealed that the Lagos youths who have been yearning for a change in government in the state owing to the inhuman treatment of the End-SARS protesters have got an ally in him to end the reign of the APC and install a truly independent governor who will not be tied to the apron string of any godfather.

He encouraged every eligible voters to troop out and exercise their franchise without any fear of harassment from the APC sponsored political thugs. And they should continue to endure the remaining days of the outgoing government as they anticipate a breath of fresh air.
