Gor’ship Election:Ganduje Imposes Dawn To Dusk Curfew In Kano As NNPP’s Abba Yussuf Wins

Kano state governor, Umar Ganduje, has declared a dawn to dusk curfew in the state in order to forestall the breakdown of law and order as the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, declared the gubernatorial candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, Abba Yussuf, as the winner of the governorship election.

NNPP’ Yussuf polled 1,019,002 to defeat his closest rival and All Progressives Congress gubernatorial candidate, Nazir Gawuna who scored 872,905.

But despite the dawn to dusk curfew, supporters of the NNPP were seen jubilation on the streets according to the report monitored on Channels Television.
