Resurrection Of Jesus Christ, Redemption To Mankind-Rev Kanta

The Vicar in charge of St. Luke’s Anglican Church, had, Reverend (Dr) Ayuba Kanta, has described the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ as a redemption to mankind and the entire human race.
Rev. Kanta made this admonition in his Easter message to Christians and the people of Nigeria in chat with newsmen shortly after Church service to mark this year celebration in Birnin-Kebbi, the Kebbi State capital.
He stated that all men have sin and fall short of the glory of God, therefore, the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ has made it possible for man to get closer to God.
Nigeria, he expressed is in dare need of a redeemer, Politicians and people of all other sector of life needs a redeemer, stressing that Nigeria as a Nation has suffered from bad leadership, therefore we need leaders who would make sacrifices like Jesus did by offering himself as a sacrificial lamb.
He expressed further that Nigeria need a leader who would make a lot of sacrifices, a godly leader who will emerged and cleanse us of all the bad things bad leadership have bestowed on us over the years, adding that Nigeria is a great country blessed with abundant resources, but unfortunately, bad leadership have eroded us of good, good things.
“My message to this Nation is that, our leaders and we the followers should rise up and save this Nation suffering from bad leadership to rise up and make sacrifices as Jesus Christ made himself a sacrificial lamb in order to redeemed human race from sins.
“I call on leaders to do the right thing, anyone that break the law there should be consequences as a deterrent to others.” He said.
