In Kebbi, Gov Idris Dissolves Bagudu’s Cabinet, Appoints Aides

 Kebbi State Governor Dr. Nasiru Idris on Wednesday formally dissolved with immediate effect the State Executive Council he inherited from the the former Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu.

According to a Press statement issues and signed by the newly appointed Press Secretary to the governor, Alhaji Ahmed Idris, stated that the governor also made some political appointment which takes immediate effect from 29th of May, 2023.

Those with new appointments are, Barrister Attahiru Maccido, Chief of Staff to the governor, Alhaji Yakubu Bala (Taidan Yauri) Secretary to the State Government, Aminu Musa Danko, Personal Assistant to the governor, Abuse Zaidu Yauri, Senior Special Assistant New Media.

Others are Umaru Shehu Baiti, Senior Special Assistant on Protocol, Alhaji Ahmed Idris of the Guardian Newspaper as Press Secretary to the governor and Yahaya Seriki, Special Adviser on Media and Publicity.

Governor Idris charged the new appointees to see their appointments as call to service and do their best to justify the confidence reposed in them.
