Gov Idris Appoints 30 Special Advisers

 A former Deputy Comptroller General of Customs, Abubakar Malam and former Accountant General in the State, Muhammad Arzika and 28 others are among those whom the Kebbi State Governor, Dr. Nasiru Idris has been appointed Special Advisers in the State.

According to a press release from the Office of the Chief Press Secretary to the State Government, Idris Ahmed stated that the former Deputy Comptroller General of Customs has been appointed to head inter governmental and Infrastructure, while Muhammad Arzika is to head Revenue Generation.

The release also stated that Alhaji Kabiru Giant becomes head of Political Affairs and Power, Dr. Aminu Haliru Bunza heads Health Department, Dr. Buhari Ali Gwandu, International Donor Agencies Department and Mohammed Bello Nasarawa heads Environment.

Others include Surajo Garba Bagudo, Bureau for Public procurement (Due Process), Danlami Aliyu Ribbah, Education, Shafiu Abubakar Zauro, Special Duties, Babangida Isa Fada, Sports, Kabiru Labo Jega Finance and Garbage Manuga Birnin-Tudu (E.S) Agriculture and Fatima Sani Udu the only woman becomes the Special Adviser on women Affairs among others.

The press release further indicated that those appointed were considered based on merit and their past records.

As the Governor wished them the best in the discharge of their duties to the people of Kebbi State.
