Eid-El-Kabir: Kebbi Gov Harps On Security, Peaceful Co-Existence

Kebbi State Governor, Dr Nasir Idris,Kauran Gwandu, has stressed the need for Nigerians to continue to continue to be committed to sustainable peace and unity of the country.
” Peace is really very imperative if we truly want Nigeria to fully develop to be at par with her contemporaries in the comity of nations, this is a task by all the citizens irrespective of religious, political, ethnic or cultural differences,” The Governor said this in his Sallah message to the people of the State and Nigerians to mark the Eid-el-Kabir festival.
According to him, Nigeria stand to fully exploit her potentials when the citizens are united and patriotic, stressing that Nigeria unity should continually be non negotiable and must remain sacrosanct.
The Governor reiterated his commitment to ensure the security of lives and properties of all the residents of the state, adding that his administration will leave no stone unturned in synergy with the security agencies to enable them perform their duties diligently.
He promised continuous support to them with logistics and morals as the state government remains committed to providing the social needs of the people, as well as initiating and implementing sound policies and programmes.
