Breaking: Release Emefiele Or Arraign Him, Court Tells DSS

A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has ordered the Department of State Services , DSS ,to charge the former governor of the Central Bank, Godwin Emefiele to court within one week or release him

Justice Hamza Muazu ruling in the fundamental human human rights of the embattled former CBN boss on Thursday said the secret police should charge him before court of competent jurisdiction within one week or release.

It will be recalled that President Bola Tinubu suspended Emefiele indefinitely and was later arrested by the DSS for alleged abuse of office.
