FCMB Partners Foundation To Carry Out Eyes Surgery In Kebbi

The first City Monument Bank (FCMB) in partnership with Tulsi Chanrai Foundation is to carry out eye surgery in Kebbi State as part of it 14th edition of the community outreach tagged “Priceless Gift of Sight” programmes.

In his address at the occasion, Mr. Diran Olojo, Group Head, Corporate Affairs who spoke through Mr Omoniyi Iyanda Head of Sustainability Department of the Bank stated that priceless Gift of sight is a Corporate Social Responsibility initiative of FCMB to partners Tulsi Chanrai Foundation of India to provide eye surgery to people suffering cataracts.

“This is the fourteenth years that FCMB is sponsoring and organising this programme in Kebbi State since our partnership with the Tulsi Chanrai Foundation began in 2009.”

In his address, the State Governor, Comrade Nasiru Idris represented by his Deputy, Alhaji Abubakar Umar commended the management of First City Monument Bank for saving well over 2,000 people of Kebbi State through their priceless gift of sight initiative.

He promised that the State government shall continue to welcome Organisations, Corporate bodies and any other Non Governmental Organisations willing to come into the State to uplift the health and social well being of the people of the State.

Also in his speech, the programme Manager of Tulsi Chanrai Foundation, Mr. Chandarkne Deshpande applauds the management of FCMB for always deeming it fit to partners with its organisation to carry out the priceless gift of sight for the people of Kebbi State.
