Kwankwaso Commiserates With His Running Mate, Bishop Idahosa Over Mother’s Death

A former presidential candidate of New Nigeria People’s Party NNPP , Sen Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, has expressed deep shock over the death of the mother of his running mate, Bishop Isaac Idahosa.

Kwankwaso in a statement issued on Saturday to condole his vice, said the death of a mother is one of the saddest events in the life of any individual, saying that a mother’s place in our lives is special, and most difficult to fill.

Idahosa’s mother died on Saturday.

She was aged 92.

He said, “the greatest happiness of every mother is to see that her children are raised up successfully to adulthood and become useful to society and humanity.”

The former governor, however take solace in the fact that the late Mama Idahosa’s fulfilment was to leave behind, a successful, responsible and God fearing children, who have impacted society and humanity in their various endeavours in life.

Kwankwaso urged the children to keep her virtues and all she stood for when she was alive and to immortalize her accordingly.

“I deeply mourn the loss of this great mother who was the pillar and matriarch of the family and above all, she sacrificed greatly for her children to be upright and responsible in the society.

“I know what they are feeling at the moment. My family and I and my party, (NNPP) stand with the Idahosas at this moment of grief.

”While praying to God to grant the deceased eternal rest, he also prayed to God to give the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.”
