Ondo Crisis: Doyin Odebowale’s Meddling is Hindering Peace in Ondo State
In response to the recent statement made by Mr Doyin Odebowale, Senior Special Assistant on Special Duties & Strategy to the Governor of Ondo State, we, as the Ondo Redemption Group, feel compelled to address the concerning assertions made therein.
Our mission has always been to promote peace and unity for the betterment of Ondo State and its people.
It should be correctly noted, that Doyin Odebowale to the best of our understanding is not the spokesman of the Ondo State Government, and lacks the capacity to illegally assume such.
It is with disappointment that we note Mr Odebowale’s commentary, during his reaction purportedly released on behalf of the Ondo State Government, to the recently held Press Conference, by the Ondo State Deputy Governor, Mr Lucky Aiyedatiwa, which portrays him as a meddlesome interloper rather than a facilitator of reconciliation.
Instead of fostering an environment of conciliation and collaboration, Odebowale, as usual, appeared to be fanning the flames of discord by countering the Deputy Governor’s recent overtures for peace.
This approach serves no one’s interests, least of all those of the people of Ondo State. The people of Ondo State yearn for a harmonious relationship with their elected officials, as it directly impacts their well-being and the progress of the state.
As the Ondo Redemption Group, we firmly believe that it is in the best interests of all parties involved to set aside personal differences and work together for the greater good.
We warn Mr Odebowale to desist from his ignoble stance and support efforts to bridge the existing divides.
Furthermore, we emphasize the importance of unwavering respect for the institutions that represent us, including the House of Assembly.
The allegations of malfeasance levelled against the Deputy Governor are matters that should be addressed through proper channels and not in the court of the likes of Doyin Odebowale.
In conclusion, we call upon Mr. Odebowale the usual rabble rousal and all parties involved to prioritize the well-being of the people of Ondo State and work together to resolve their differences amicably.
Odebowale and his co-travellers should preoccupy themselves with his current job of operating the motor parks on behalf of the Ondo State government, and desist from the role of an interloper, that he is currently engaged in.
Peace and unity are the cornerstones of progress, and as Ondo Redemption Group, we are dedicated to promoting these ideals for the betterment of our beloved state and its citizens.
