Kebbi Council Boss Dies At 47

The people of Maiyama Local Government Area of Kebbi State were thrown into sorrow as the Local Government Chairman’ death news was broken at an early hour of today. 

The Kebbi State Government wishes to announce the death of Hon. Zayyanu Muhammad-Bello, the Executive Chairman of Maiyama Local Government Area.

The deceased, Hon. Zayyanu Muhammad Bello died at the Usman Danfodio University Teaching Hospital (UDUTH), Sokoto, after a protracted Illness. 

In a press statement made available to newsmen by the Chief Press Secretary to the State governor, Ahmed Idris stated that the State Government wishes to use this medium to extend its condolences to the immediate family and the entire people of Maiyama Local Government Area over the death of their Chairman.

“We pray to Almighty Allah to forgive all his shortcomings and grant him Jannatul Firdaus,” he said.

The late council chairman left behind two wives and three children and time for his funeral prayer is slated for 2pm today.
