Breaking: CAN Chairman, STV Adegbite Reelected

THE Chairman of Christian Association of Nigeria, Lagos chapter, Bishop STV Adegbite, has been reelected for another second term of three years.

Newsnow correspondent gathered that at the CAN state meeting held today at Hoares Memorial Methodist Church, Sabo, Yaba, the whole house unanimously re-elected Bishop STV Adegbite and his executive council for another second term of three years.

All the 50 bloc delegates from the five blocs of CAN (CSN, CCN, CPFN/PFN, OAIC & TEKAN/ECWA) and 57 Coordinators representing the 20 local governments and 37 LCDAs of Lagos State overwhelmingly voted in favour of the continuity of the State Chairman and his executive council.

It will be recalled that Bishop Adegbite worked very hard to ensure the victory of his friend, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the poll.

He was also instrumental to the reelection of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State.
