Govs Idris, Umar-Radda, Uba Sani Others Join Dauda Lawal To Launch Zamfara Community Guards

The Kebbi State Governor, Comrade Dr Nasir Idris and five other governors from the North West States joined their Zamfara State couterpart, Dauda Lawal on Wednesday to launch the Zamfara State Community Protection Guards in Gusaus, the Zamfara State capital.
The security outfit ‘protection guards’ initiated by Zamfara State Government was meant to complement the efforts of security agencies by beefing up security of lives and properties of Zamfara people.
The youths who passed out on Wednesday were trained by security personnel on rudiments of security operation as well as ways to combat insecurity and restore lasting peace in the state.
Other governors in attendance are; Governors of Sokoto, Dr Ahmad Aliyu, Katsina, Dr Dikko Umar-Radda, Jigawa, Alhaji Umar Namadi and Kaduna Sen. Uba Sani, who was represented by his Deputy, Dr Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe.On the entourage of Nasiru Idris are; the Secretary to Kebbi State Government (SSG), Alhaji Yakubu Bala-Tafida, Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon. Abubakar Umar-Dutsinmari, Commissioner for Home Affairs and Internal Security, Hon. Sama’ila Yakubu-Augie.Others includes; APC state Chairman, Abubakar Kana-Zuru, Accountant General Alhaji Bello Naliku Aminu Zurumawa and the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Idris Baba.
