Inconclusive Primary: APC Removes Uzodinma As Edo Primary Election Committee Chair

The national working committee of the All Progressives Congress,APC, has removed the governor of Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodinma as the chairman of its primary election committee.

Cross River state Governor, Senator Bassey Otu who served as Uzodinma deputy during the inconclusive February 17,2024 primary has been named as his replacement.

Uzodinma had declared Hon Dennis Idahosa as the elected governorship candidate of the APC which led to more confusion as two other candidates are now laying claim to the ticket before the party weilded the big stick.

The APC NWC which met late yesterday had declared the election inconclusive and ordered that the process will continue tomorrow.

A chieftain of the APC in Edo state, Emmanuel Odigie has accused a former governor of the state, Senator Adams Oshiomole of trying to foist his anointed candidate, Hon Idahosa on the party.
