COVID-19: FG Alerts Nigerians Of New Variant

The Federal Ministry of Health has alerted Nigerians of the new variant of COVID-19.

The new variant which has been reported in Australia is said to have spread to 29 countries.

According to the statement issued by Dr O N Anuma, Head , Teaching Hispital Division on behalf of the permanent secretary, ministry of health urged all the hospitals across the country to activate the alert system for high index of suspicion in patients with COVID-19 like symptoms.
