Lagos U15 League Hits Home Stretch

The Lagos FA organised U15 Football league for boys has hit the home stretch with two matches in matchday 5, slated for Saturday, April 5, 2025, at the Mainbowl of the National Stadium, Surulere.

In the first game of the day beginning at 11am, Young Stars FC will square up against Dosu FA in what has been described as a classification match up in view of their positions on the log.

The second and last game of the day would be between table toppers, Olufunke FA and Starlight FC, both on 9 points from 3 matches and with the same goals differences.

Expectedly, both teams would give it their best shots to gain the bragging rights and to top the league table, ahead of the final match of the league to decide the champions of the 2024/2025 season, slated to hold next week Saturday at the same venue.

Meanwhile, there has been an impressive haul of 19 goals scored in the 8 matches played so far.

Speaking ahead of the concluding matches, the Chief Executive Officer of the youth league, Dele Gbajumo expresses his appreciation to the participating teams for displaying high levels of discipline, as well as, playing to the rules and regulations of the championship.

He went ahead to promise that the finals of the championship, would be entertaining, exciting and well organised, in line with the avowed commitments of the LSFA to high standards.

He commended the leadership of the Lagos FA led by Hajji Gafar Liameed and indeed, the stakeholders for the confidence reposed on the youth league body.
