NPFL U19 Championship, Ikenne Centre Match Day 2: Review

 Matchday two of the NPFL U19 Championship taking place in Ikenne, Ogun State continued with goals raining again at the Ikenne centre.

In the first match of the day, Remo Stars football club, resumed like a house on fire. They were quick to put four goals past a lethargic Shooting Stars, who consoled themselves with a solitary goal. 

Ikorodu City got another well deserved win in the second game of the day, as they defeated Sunshine Stars 2-0 and moved to the second spot on the table on six points, but lesser goals to Remo Stars who are on top of the table, also with six points.

Kwara United came back into their second match determined to redeem themselves with a much needed 2-1 victory over Bendel Insurance. 

Meanwhile, Wednesday has been announced as rest day for the teams. As actions resumes on Thursday, at the same venue.
