Ibom Air Saga:Ms Emmanson Will Decide Either To Press Charges Or Not- Lawyer …Ibom Air Hostess Was Rude- SAN

Adefunke Maria, the lawyer to the embattled Ibom Air passenger, Ms Comfort Emmanson,has explained that her client would decide the next line of action either to press civil charges against Ibom Air or not.

Barrister Maria, who spoke on Channels Television public affairs programme, Morning Brief, monitored in Lagos on Thursday maintained that the video put out by the Ibom Air was meant to exonerate them and not the true picture of what actually happened.

Corroborating her narrative, a passenger on the Ibom Air flight from Uyo to Lagos, Mr Ogebe David, a senior advocate of Nigeria said the Air hostess was actually rude to Ms Emmanson.

According to Mr Ogebe, “the air hostess treated her shabbilly and that might have provoked Ms Emmanson to say what she said which I wouldn’t want to repeat again on air.”

Ms Emmanson lawyer said her client was now in good shape and only needed time to rest and decide the next line of action.

She, however, said that contrary to the denials by Ibom Air Staff, it’s quite obvious from the voice over on some of the videos that the recordings were done by them.

” They are trying to exonerate themselves from the liability. That’s why they edited the video they released to the public,” she added.
