Ajeromi-Ifelodun Sports Board Announces Dissolution Of Ajegunle Above 40 All Stars Local Management Committee

The Executive Board of the Ajeromi-Ifelodun Sports Council has formally dissolved the current Management Committee of the Ajegunle Above 40 All Stars League, with immediate effective.
The decision followed a series of unresolved operational failures that have compromised the integrity and smooth running of the league including, lack of Communication with participating teams, resulting in missed updates and missed deadlines; No cordial working relationship with referees, thereby creating frequent disputes and undermining match officiating.

The members of the LMC, were also accused of being insensitive to issues and therefore, leaving grievances unaddressed and thus, eroding trust.
They were also found wanting for total disregard for participating teams, which was amplified by inconsistent scheduling and inadequate support, as well as, inadequate control of the league operations, that has led to logistical chaos and uncertainty.
According to the press release signed by the AJIF Sports Council Secretary, Onasanya A.M, the board will appoint an Interim Steering Committee to oversee the transition, restore communication channels, and ensure a fair and transparent league environment, while a permanent structure is established.
