NATHANIEL IDOWU-AJEGUNLE U14 LEAGUE:Goals Rain On Opening Day

It was pure fun and exciting moments for the impressive crowd at the lush green Nathaniel Idowu pitch, Oregie, Ajegunle, on the opening day of Nathaniel Idowu Ajegunle U14 football tournament.
The tournament which is sponsored by the Nathaniel Idowu Foundation in partnership with the Ajeromi-Ifelodun Sports Council, truly lived up to its billings as the starry-eyed lads put up raw, but scintillating football displays that had fans on the edge of their seats.

The six matches of the week one produced a very impressive tally of 21 goals. And of course, it tells a story of intense and highly competitive games.
In the first game of matchday one, Ajegunle United Sporting Club shared the spoils with Michael May FA in a 1-1 draw. Match two of the day saw Pure Talents FA showing pure intentions as they trashed Coal City FA 3-0. The third game was a goals galore as Strong Dove FA was too strong for Best of Best FA in a 5-1win.

Bright Future FA followed with a 2-1 over Moore Wins FA. The goals rain continued as Fortune FA walloped Divinely Blessed FA 5-0. The last game of the day featured Young 11 FA who lost 0-2 to Sharp Talent FA.
Matches continue next week at the same venue, with interesting fixtures.
