Lagos Top Bishop Dies At 60
Bishop Dr Taiwo Theophilus Ajose of Ajose Intercessory Ministries is dead.
He was 60.
Bishop Ajose, according to a family source, died on Saturday May 16th 2026 in Lagos after a brief illness.
Until his death, Bishop Ajose was a co-chair of HIV/AIDS Board of NACA.
He was the special assistant to the Executive Secretary of Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission, Bishop STV Adegbite, who also doubles as chaplain of Aso Rock Village, Abuja.
Bishop Ajose, a prominent member of the Christian Association of Nigeria and Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria until his death on Saturday night, was the Lagos State Director of Centre for Politics and Governance, the political arm of the PFN.
Condolence messages have been pouring in from numerous organisations that he took active part while alive.
The Renewed Ministers Conference, Nigeria National Christian Coalition, NNCC, Organisation of Christian in Politics amongst others which he founded, have been thrown into mourning mood since his death on Saturday evening.
