Ex -SGF, Babachir Lawal Dumps ADC Over Alleged Rigged Primaries

Former SGF Babachir Lawal has resigned from the African Democratic Congress after Atiku Abubakar emerged as the party’s presidential candidate.

Lawal alleged that the ADC primary was manipulated in Atiku’s favour and said he would not participate in what he described as a rigging effort for the 2027 election.

He also criticized Atiku as incompetent and accused him of tribal and religious bias, stating that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu would be a better leader than Atiku.

Babashir Lawal said:”I will, in the meantime, retire to my village farm from where I will be watching Kachalla Atiku Abubakar and his band of wicked vote riggers and result manipulators mercilessly out-rigged and beaten to pulp by Tinubu’s ruthless and superior rigging machine.

“Then, it will be bye-bye to this octogenarian presidential wannabe. It will be bye-bye to the North for preferring a religious hegemonists over a competent world-renowned economist and corporate guru…..”
