EMHF Heritage Event Hall – Now Open To The Public
The Heritage Event Hall, now officially open to the public, is the first completed and publicly accessible section of the Evergreen Musical Heritage Foundation ( EMHF) a vibrant sanctuary and visionary project dedicated to the preservation of the rich history of African Music. It serves as a vibrant venue for musical performances, conferences, exhibitions, cultural events, educational programmes, and public engagement. More than an event space, it is a place where music lives, heritage is honoured, and culture continues to flourish.
Development and renovation continue across several major facilities that will collectively make EMHF one of Africa’s foremost centres for music and cultural heritage. These include the Music Recording Studio, Music Library and Research Centre, Music Museum, Exhibition Hall of Fame, Theatre and Performing Arts Centre, Music Souvenir Shops, Digital Archive and and additional galleries dedicated to celebrating the lives and achievements of Africa’s greatest musical icons.
The Heritage Event Hall represents only the beginning of a much greater vision. The accompanying images illustrate another important dimension of the Foundation’s mission: postgraduate scholars, including Master’s and Ph.D. candidates, conducting advanced research within the Foundation. Ongoing Workshop , Documentation , Awards ,Memorial ceremonies .
EMHF is being developed as a leading academic ,research and entertainment hub where students, historians, ethnomusicologists, musicians, and cultural researchers can study, document, preserve and promote the rich history and evolution of African music.
One of the Foundation’s defining missions is to rescue, preserve, and showcase the priceless works of legendary musicians whose contributions have shaped African music but whose stories and achievements risk being forgotten with time. Through carefully curated archives, *rare recordings, photographs, instruments, manuscripts, personal collections, documentaries, and interactive exhibitions*, EMHF will ensure that their legacies remain permanently accessible to scholars, artists, and the general public.
