Group Restates Why Nigerians Should Re-Elect President Tinubu

The fast approaching 2027 general elections in Nigeria, has continued to generate wide and varied opinions from organisations and individuals from different walks of life.
A group of young Nigerian professionals under the aegis of Young Professionals For Tinubu (YP4T), has come out with a statement to restate reasons for discerning Nigerians to vote and re-elect the incumbent, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, at next year’s elections.
In the statement signed by its National Coordinator, Hon. Alex Oware, it admonished Nigerians to look beyond tribal, ethnic, religious or political affiliations, when choosing the country’s leaders at next year’s elections.
“This is the period for deeper reflections and also the opportunity to choose wisely, at next year’s elections,” the YP4T leader stated.
“Nigeria is presently undergoing and rebirth in all aspects of our national life. Take a closer look, you’d see that this present government led by His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, has rejigged and given fresher and positive breath of life to virtually all sectors of our national life.The youth and socio-political advocate, was quick to recall some life-changing programmes of the President Bola Tinubu’ government, as he particularly, emphasised the youth empowerment initiatives through education.
“Education also plays a vital role in national development. It encourages critical thinking, creativity, research, and problem-solving, empowering the youth to become creators rather than merely consumers of technology and ideas. This is one sector, that this government has taken seriously.
“According to official reports, the Federal Ministry of Education, over one million out-of-school children have been reintegrated into education, through programmes targeting out-of-school and Almajiri children. There is also the National Commission for Almajiri and out of school children.
“Muchmore, this government also established the impactful Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND), was established to reduce financial barriers to tertiary education. It is equally worthy to note that the government has reportedly inmbursed more than, even as 1.5 million students, now have had received access to higher education through the scheme, with more than ₦282 billion disbursed. The YP4T leader was also quick to delve into stronger reasons why Nigerians should vote and re-elect President Bola Tinubu, citing that the country’s economy is now robust and more prosperous, as the government has become intentional about the prosperity of the nation, by creating more revenue streams.
“This government has diversified the economy of the country. Diversification of Nigeria’s economy has equally resulted in the country, realising over N9 trillion, from exporting 230 non-oil products to over 120 countries across the world.
“This and many other socio-economic feats are unprecedented in the history of governance in Nigeria. And it, of course, portends a better and brighter future for this great country,” he stated.
