Prophet Israel Oladele ‘Genesis’ Unveils Plans For Luli Prayer Conference 2026 -Calls For Peace And Unity
Prophet Israel Oladele of Celestial Church of Christ, Genesis Global International parish, has announced plans for this year’s Luli Prayer Conference.
He said the day, which represents the founding day of celestial church of Christ worldwide, will provide an opportunity for Celestials across the world to come together in prayer and thanksgiving, while seeking divine intervention for Nigeria.
The Global Prophet made this known at a media briefing in Lagos, where he spoke on the significance of the annual Luli yearly celebration and the need for members of the Celestial Church of Christ to remain united as one spiritual family.
The Luli Prayer Conference is scheduled to hold on September 29 at Genesis Global city Alakuko, Lagos, as part of the worldwide celebration of the Celestial Church of Christ.
According to Prophet Genesis, this year gathering will have a strong focus on prayers for the nation, particularly as Nigeria approaches another election season.
He said the church has a responsibility to continually pray for the peace, stability and progress of the country, stressing that the Luli prayer conference 2026 would therefore go beyond the festivities to provide an avenue for collective prayers for Nigeria and the world at large .
The cleric also used the media briefing to make a passionate call for unity among members of the Celestial Church, urging Celestials to recognise the common spiritual heritage that binds them together.
He emphasised the place of the founder of the Celestial Church of Christ, Reverend S.B.J. Oshofa, in the history and identity of the church, stressing that members of the worldwide Celestial family are united by the foundation laid by the founder.
Prophet Israel Oladele said differences among members should not be allowed to overshadow the common heritage of the church, calling on Celestials to return to the spirit of unity and togetherness.
He noted that the legacy of Reverend S.B.J. Oshofa should serve as a rallying point for Celestials around the world, regardless of their individual branches, locations or differences.
The cleric further looked ahead to next year’s Luli prayer conference , which will coincide with the 80th year anniversary of the Celestial Church.
He described the 80th-anniversary of celestial as an event that would be “explosive,” across the world indicating that extensive preparations would be made to mark the milestone celebration.
According to him, the forthcoming anniversary will provide another opportunity for Celestials worldwide to celebrate their heritage, strengthen their bonds and reflect on the journey of the church since inception.
He reiterated that the unity of the Celestial family remains essential to preserving the heritage of the church and honouring the vision of its founder, Reverend S.B.J. Oshofa.
The annual September 29 Luli Prayer Concert is therefore expected to bring together members of the Celestial Church of Christ, Christians and non Christians for a gathering centred on prayer, thanksgiving, unity and the wellbeing of Nigeria.
