66 Years Of Nigeria’s Independence, NNPCL Waxes Stronger..Records Impressive N7.3Trillion After-Tax Profit

The management and board of Nigeria National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has added to the goodness and joy of Nigeria’s 66th Independence Anniversary, with the announcement of impressive end-of- year financial reports.
In what can be described as a year of unprecedented performance, under the leadership of Group Chief Executive Officer, Engineer Bashir Bayo Ojulari and the Board, NNPC Limited recorded strong financial results, supporting Nigering Nigeria’s fiscal stability and national development.

It also recorded operational excellence, as crude oil production peaked at 1.77 million barrels per day, a five-year high.
While natural gas supply reached 7.2 billion standard cubic per day, a three-year high. Sustained crude supply to Dangote Refinery supports fuel security and value at home.
In his remarks, Chairman, Board of Directors, Engineer Ahmadu Musa Kida, said, “Nigeria’s independence was a promise; a promise of self-determination, of national prosperity, of a future built by Nigerian hands for Nigerian benefit.”
In a published report: *66 Years Of Independence, A future Powered By NNPCL*, revealed audited results of year ended December 2025. The financial year 2025 financial highlights showed N34.5 trillion in revenue; and a ‘Profit After-Tax of N7.2 trillion’, which represents a 33% of year to year growth.
The financial report also showed a N22.3 trillion federal remittance, and a 39% increase. Earnings per share was N35.9, and 32% year-on-year growth.
