Hon. Oware, was quick to state some reasons why Nigerians should celebrate the independence anniversary, as well as, thank and support the efforts of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to make Nigeria, a better country.
“Nigerians should be happy today and celebrate our independence anniversary, because the Nigeria is moving forward in all directions.
“For many decades, the previous governments of this country, has been servicing corruption and fraud, in the name of fuel subsidy. “President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, came to power and on his first day in office, he removed the fuel subsidy. It takes only a brave, courageous leader to take such bold steps.
“Moving ahead, His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, came up with bold economic reforms that stopped Nigeria from borrowing to service debts.
“The economic reforms of this present government has saved trillions of naira, that’s now being enjoyed by states and local governments. Salaries and pensions are no longer owed by the governments.”
He continued enthusiastically, “Nigerians today are awed by the several infrastructural projects ongoing across different parts of the country.
“We have the Lagos to Calabar coastal highway, Lagos to Kano road reconstruction, the Badagry to Sokoto highway, and many other projects aimed at boosting the socio-economic development of Nigeria.
“And we cannot equally fail to remark and commend President Bola Tinubu, for the several true life-changing initiatives and programmes of his government, aimed at improving and empowering Nigerian youths.
“Youths, women and indeed, Nigerians, are being encouraged and empowered in different aspects of human endeavours.
“The commitments of this government to reposition Nigeria for a beter tomorrow, in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda, is a sure path to a better future for Nigeria.
“Nigerians, let’s celebrate and thank God for the good things happening to our country, at this time of our national life,” Oware, a social and youth advocate added.
