CAIDOV Unveils New Arm, CAIDOV Justice Watch To The Public

The Centre Against Injustice and Domestic Violence (CAIDOV), a registered NGO in Nigeria, has officially unveiled its news and advocacy arm – CAIDOV JUSTICE WATCH- to the general public.
The unveiling was announced today by the Executive Director, Comrade Gbenga Soloki, in Lagos.
According to Comrade Soloki, the creation of CAIDOV Justice Watch became necessary to bridge the gap between victims of injustice and the public, through fearless investigative journalism and community advocacy.
“For years, CAIDOV as an NGO has been intervening in cases of domestic violence and injustice. But we discovered that injustice thrives in silence. Many victims suffer because no one hears them. CAIDOV Justice Watch is now our loudspeaker – our media arm to investigate, expose, and publish cases of oppression until justice is served,” Comrade Soloki said.
What is CAIDOV Justice Watch?
Comrade Soloki clarified the structure:
CAIDOV is the mother NGO – registered and legally recognized to fight injustice and domestic violence.
CAIDOV Justice Watch is its dedicated news arm – saddled with the responsibility of media coverage, investigative reporting, and public advocacy.”Other NGOs write reports. We will publish stories that the nation must read. Our press crew will be where injustice happens – from police stations to homes to communities,” he added.
Mandate of the News Arm:
– Investigate and report cases of domestic violence
– Expose police brutality, landlord harassment, and oppression of the vulnerable
– Amplify voices of the voiceless
– Follow up cases from report to resolution
– Hold power to account
The organization called on members of the public who are experiencing any form of injustice or domestic violence to contact its justice desk for immediate intervention.
The public is also invited to partner with CAIDOV as volunteers, pro-bono lawyers, counselors, donors, and media partners.
