TGICC, NCYP Team Up In Kebbi, Mobilise Youth Ahead Of Tinubu/Shettima’s Campaign Visit

The Kebbi State chapter of Tinubu/Shettima Grassroot Independent Campaign Council (TGICC) and the State chapter of the Northern Christian Youth Professionals (NCYP) kebbi State has agreed to team up, work together to mobilise youth in the rural areas across the 21 Local government Council of the State ahead of Tinubu/Shettima campaign visit to the State this week.
The TGICC and the NCYP Coordinators, Hon. Ahmed Danjuma and Hon. Simon Yusuf in a joint press statement signed by their Secretary, Comrade Olaoluwa Oyewole and made available to newsmen in Birnin-Kebbi on Sunday, stated that the joint group formally paid an advocacy visit to Gwandu Emirate Traditional Council with a call on the palace of Galadima District in Birnin-Kebbi.
The District Head His Highness Alh Aminu Zurumawa according to the Pressure statement urged the two group to provide an enabling ground for effective mobilization of the youth whom he described as vibrant and energetic who constitute 65 percent of Kebbi State population.
Alhaji Zurumawa also charge the group to emphasis on violence free campaign in their Mobilization tour of the rural Communities of the State, as he told them that the doors of his palace is open to them a all times for free and fair mobilization campaign.
Earlier, the coordinator of NCYP, Hon. Simon Yusuf onbehalf of the joint group has assured the District Head that their mission across the rural communities in the State is to mobilize support for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Senator Ibrahim Shettima in the goth coming Presidential Election.
“The two group (TGICC) and the (NCYP) is bringing the northern Christians votes to Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his running mate Ibrahim Shettimathe for APC and for national cohesion and development”. the statement read.
