APC Screening Panel Disqualified Ayade’s Preferred Governorship Candidate, Bassey Otu Who Is An Ex-Convict

Determined not to run foul of the law again on account of false declaration, the All Progressives Congress screening panel for Cross River governorship has disqualified the preferred governorship candidate of Governor Ben Ayade, Mr Bassey Otu on account of being an ex-convict.

Bassey Otu apparently lied in the column that he has never being convicted, but a petition detailing everything about his conviction was sent to the panel. 

The panel led by DIG Suleiman Fakai rtd promptly disqualified Bassey Otu.
