Regina Daniels & Laila Charani

An online confrontation has erupted between Laila Charani and Regina Daniels, two wives of Ned Nwoko, escalating the ongoing marital crisis between Daniels and the politician.

The dispute spilled onto Instagram, with both women trading serious allegations.

The Nwoko family’s conflict began in October when a viral video showed Daniels in tears, accusing her husband of domestic violence.

Nwoko later fired back, claiming his wife was struggling with drug and alcohol addiction.

However, Daniels admitted to using hard drugs but shifted the focus back to her husband, alleging he orchestrated her addiction as part of a pattern of control and manipulation.

In a lengthy Instagram post, Laila alleged that the core of the conflict is Nwoko’s intolerance of Daniels’ alleged habits.

She claimed her husband has always been clear that he would not accept a wife who drinks, smokes, or uses drugs.

“How dare you say that you ever gave me money, for what exactly? I am very contented with the provisions my husband makes for our family. We should show Nigerians our bank accounts to see who is paying money to our accounts,” she wrote.

“You also know that my husband completely hates alcohol, drugs, and smoking. He has always been clear that he would never accept any wife who drinks, smokes, or uses drugs.

“The only reason you are fighting my husband is because he wants you to stop your drug and alcohol addiction. It has always been a serious matter for him, as he neither smokes nor drinks himself.

“You know too well that I almost lost my marriage when you introduced me to drugs 6 years ago and it was my husband’s quick insistence on intervention that rescued me from that dark path.”

Laila further described Regina as a “bad influence,” accusing her of supplying drugs to domestic staff and her own younger sister Destiny.

She claimed Regina engaged in inappropriate relationships with “every single girl around you,” stating “this was why she would not trust” her daughters around her unsupervised.

Laila also urged Regina to focus on rehabilitation and “leave the other wives out of this,” framing her comments as coming from “a place of truth and concern”.

“You have been a bad influence since you married into this beautiful family giving drugs to nannies and our workers including your younger sister Destiny,’ she added.

“You infected everyone with your virus and this is why I will not trust my daughters around you unsupervised especially when I found out that you were sleeping with every single girl around you.

“Please go and sort yourself out. Seek help immediately and continue with your rehabilitation, and leave the other wives out of this.

“I say this not out of anger, but from a place of truth and concern for the level of lies that you are peddling for reasons that are known to you alone.”

Regina fired back on her Instastory, dismissing Laila’s remarks as “useless and hurtful”.

The Nollywood star defended her character as a caring mother to many children.

She sarcastically addressed the claim about sleeping with women, writing, “How is the other woman so certain? lol. Is she so certain because I slept with her too?”

Regina also warned Ned to protect their children, adding that her focus remains on safeguarding their kids’ foundation.

“First off! Openly saying you can’t leave kids around me is the most useless and hurtful thing Ned ordered his retarded wife to say. I’m such a mother to so many children that it’s quite tiring,” she wrote.

“Also, saying i sleep with every single girl? Truthfully, sleeping with same gender isn’t a thing that I consider shameful but How is the other woman so certain? lol. Is she so certain because I slept with her too?
