Osun Monarch Lauds Adeleke’s Commitment To Enhance Justice System

The Oloke Olooru Obalufon of Okeolooru, Obalufon land in Boluwaduro Local Government, Osun State, Oba Adebisi Mukaila Micheal JP Oyegbadebo nitoriolaomoni 1 okeremi Oyewo 1V has lauded Governor Ademola Adeleke for his commitment to enhance the justice system in the state.

The monarch while speaking with journalists at the inauguration of Justice of Peace in Osogbo commended Governor Ademola Adeleke’s commitment to an effective justice system in the state.

Oba Adebisi who was one of the newly inaugurated Justice of Peace expressed gratitude to Governor Ademola Adeleke for counting him worthy to serve serve the state in that capacity.

The Governor confers the honor on Oba Adebisi and others in line with section 14 of the Osun Magistrate Court Law and in compliance with Section 13 of the same Law, As Justice of Peace, Oba Adebisi pledged to discharge his duties with integrity, fairness, and diligence to justify the trust reposed in him by the Governor.

Oba Adebisi also commended the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Barrister Jimi Baba SAN for his role in ensuring and effective and efficient legal system in the state.

Speaking on the occasion, Governor Ademola Adeleke said Justices of Peace system aligns with the goal of of his administration to bring justice closer to the people. Adeleke said the efforts of Justice of Peace will reduce the burden on the formal courts in the state.

The governor charge the newly sworn-in Justices of Peace to be ambassadors of peace, honesty, and equity.

He advised them to avoid partisanship, corruption and abuse of office.
